I haven't gone crazy or anything so far as to pull the clutch, but I did bleed it which seemed to help a bit. The fluid was pretty old and nasty looking, so I threw some new DOT-4 in there. Pedal feels a little better, I have not been able to replicate the issue yet, but I also have not been on the highway since. Might have to go for a cruise today...
