Came over early on a sunday morning, threw me the keys, and said.. let's go to supercar sunday - you drive.
He made his point... I was immediately frustrated with just how horribly the car handled and felt. Everything I did, it was like it would pause 5 seconds before it would react to my inputs. Then when it did it somehow did in the most annoying way possible. Made stupid noises and blinked and flashed at me. Brakes felt like giant soft sponges and the car would dive whenever I tried to actually use them as I don't think Toyota ever expected anyone to try to change speed or direction rapidly in that car. I was cussing and swear at the thing constantly on the drive over. Felt horribly embarrassed around real car people that I knew with some of the best cars in LA (and hence the world).. pulling up in a Camry I parked at the far edge of the lot out of shame. At least it was a rental... Then we went out to a few dealerships to do some test drives of other cars including a brz, wrx and a maserati wth. Got back in the Camry to drive to a malibu beach house with some hot girls... in a Camry... I gave the keys back to my friend and said, 'I'm never driving that thing again. If you don't drive it back, I'm driving it into the ocean where it belongs'. Bought my 86 the next day.
Point of the story: There is nothing on paper that will ever make the Camry in any way competitive with the twins. It is a truly awful car to drive in all regards no matter how much your mother says it is the best car she's ever owned.

? On paper is where it IS competitive. Real life, it is not.

There is a guy on youtube with a 2017 86 that pulls 6.06 0-60 stock. So you're .4 just became a .26.
