The curb weight for the 2.0t base is 3294lbs and the 2.0T Track model is 3362lbs. During a recent Web event with the U.S. poduct manager for Hyundai we were told the R-Spec will weigh in around the same as the base 2.0T model.
Yeah it is still heavy....I would have liked to see them drop 200lbs more and get the car near 3000lbs. But what do you expect the car is based off a large luxury sedan platform? It's not like they were going to be able to turn the Genesis sedan into a miata sized coupe.
