the bolstering is slightly different in these cars in that the hard part of the seat is creating the shape, where most other bolsters are shaped foam. so when getting in, there's less 'give' in the foam, but something's got to give, so it results in increased wear to the seat cover.
you could try driving naked for a while to minimize bolster wear. but that might wear other bits out faster. will definitely make traffic incidents more interesting.
