Guys,
Statistically most people do not own cars purchased beyond 5-6 years or so. Are you the type who keeps a car forever? Me? Nope. The car is warranted. The car will likely live a long and reliable life no matter how spirited you or others are behind the wheel (I didn't say abused). One must work pretty hard to break a modern car these days. Most dealers protect their assets. They want their sales agents to sell cars, not get into accidents, damage their expensive rolling stock or be tied up in some form of litigation. Most dealers don't let prospective customers abuse the inventory because it isn't good for their insurance, salesmans life and customers trust. If you can get a new demo car for a used car price (think 2K+ discount) then go for it, drive it and enjoy the extra money on tires, wheels or for me, cuban cigars and Havana Club rum...
