Seems to me that unless you stopped driving the car after taking each sample you are still at risk. Since we have seen failures in a range for 500 miles to 5,000 miles that would be a shit load of tests with no use of the car for longer periods than it was driven before you ever got a verdict one way or another. It would make a great lawn ornament in between tests though.
