Depending on how much you’re lowering it, it could wear out the shocks faster and affect the ride. It’s not an absolute must but you’ll also be doing the same work twice. If it’s gonna be a while, I’d go ahead and do the springs but if it’s gonna be soon, I’d just wait to save yourself the trouble of removing everything again.
