So, I was finally able to hook up my oil cooler again.

I had it disconnected because I couldn't figure out how to stop leaks from the sandwich plate adapter cluster f*** we have to use in order to have an oil cooler with the kraftworks kit. I tried everything short of devil worship to get the thing to work. Basically we use a spacer on the bottom, and a plate with a sensor on top of that, and then the oil cooler adapter plate on top of that, and finally the oil filter on top of that! So, 3 sandwich plates and an oil filter for grand total of 4 mating surfaces and something somewhere leaking in between.

How did I solve it? I got me a fancy shmancy Skunk2 sandwich plate. I'm not sure when they came out with this thing, but I'm pretty sure it's relatively new to the market. It's basically one giant sandwich plate with an oil temp sensor bung, and the oil cooler adapter all in one! So now I only have two mating surfaces and zero leaks.
I run the mishimoto oil cooler and had the male/female fittings from a motul sandwich plate which is 10AN on both ends. That doesn't fit on the Skunk2 plate. I had to purchase two 8AN male with 10AN flare adapters. The Skunk2 sandwich plate is 8AN.
Oil cooler is 10AN.
I'll edit this post with a pic once my wife gets back from the store with the car.

Here's the links to this stuff if anyone is interested:
Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter - '13-'16 BRZ/ FRS/ FT86

RaceFlux -8AN O-Ring Boss to -10AN Male Flare Adapter Fitting SKU: OM-08-10
these are nice because they have o-rings.
