where have YOU been

as for ethanol causing or not causing damage, i'm not going to get into it because i'm not a chemist, but the owners manual specifically says not to use it, so you can do whatever, but i'm switching back to shell (been a custom all my driving life).
The owners manual (6-1) says not to use gas containing more than 10%. As I mentioned previously I doubt they use 10%... & Since Subaru's engineers would have accounted for Ethanol in gas I will stick with my position that 10% ethanol gas isn't so bad.

Not to mention Ethanol has been in our gasoline since... 1999? Maybe before that?

Again... hard to believe Ethanol could cause this. Then again people switching to Shell seem to get rid of the chirping. Will give it ago as soon as I need to fill up.
