I got a OFT recently. My BRZ is an Automatic and stock so I'm running stage 1 tune. My issue that I'm having that I am seeing different from the stock tune is that more than just occasionally after I cold start the car, either when I put it in drive or reverse the rpm jumps from ~1000 idol to ~1800. After I let the car sit for like 10 seconds the Revs slowly go back down to ~1000 since the car is still idol just in drive or reverse. To me it seems like something is wrong with the tune. Typically with an automatic car, when you put it in drive or reverse, the rpm drops about 200-300 rpm from idol, it should not jump up almost 1000 rpm. I dont know if you guys have tried to drive in reverse at almost 2000 rpm but its quite a bit faster than the car was at 1000 rpm. Is there anything I can do?
