Just sort of a feeler... my 2013 FRS w/ 72k miles on it has been through the entire recall/blown engine/full engine replacement-under-warranty song and dance and I've put about 600 miles on the brand new engine (short block, heads, cams, the works). It's running great now, still under Certified warranty until July 2019, and the dealer is trying to get approval to extend my warranty due to me being without the car for four months while they wrestled w/ the recall and then the new engine.
The car is in excellent condition, MT, Asphalt, SARD seat covers, Weathertec trunk liner, Spider 3DMax floor mats, fully stock, with a few small scratches and scuffs but nothing noticeable from a few feet back. Spare set of steel wheels/snow tires w/ plenty of life left. ALL scheduled maintenance done by dealership as scheduled or more frequently, including plugs at 60K AND another new set, injector seals, clutch, and TOB at new engine installation. Diff fluid, MT fluid, brake fluid, cabin filter, etc... all done as scheduled. Rear rotors and pads done in past few weeks.
The car, with the new engine, is probably worth the max it will ever be worth, and I'd entertain selling it if I got good money for it simply because I don't need it; got along fine without it for four months which kind of drove that point home. I don't know if this site allows "feelers" rather than true, listed, "for sale" posts. If it doesn't, my apologies. PMs are welcome. I'm in the Syracuse area.
