I did it 100% for the sound, because I understand that that's why you install a cat back. A good muffler will make a car
feel faster without actually making it any faster, just by adding aural stimulation to the overall driving experience.
If you install a cat back expecting moar horsepowers and torques, you're wasting your money. The amount of restriction you lose by going from a stock muffler to aftermarket is not going to make enough difference to register on a dyno.
