Bullshit. There are car enthusiasts in every generation. Younger generations don’t have money for cars. That’s the problem. When you need a 120k degree to make over 14/hour in a lot of states and housing costs you 800/month WITH roommates, there’s no room for expensive cars.
I’m considering myself lucky and do well enough for myself, but the BRZ is about the most car I can afford. I have no interest whatsoever in cars that are 50k+, cause I know I’ll never be able to afford them. if that makes me a shitty car enthusiast, oh well, my generation is supposed to kill car culture anyway.
