Any particular reason for 245 wide tire? You can run 225 on a 17x8 wheel. This may give you a few more mm of clearance.

Crash bolt should be on the top hole and not the bottom per the OEM service manual.

Based on my research (MotoIQ.com and other websites) 225 was slightly narrow for an 8” wide wheel depending on which tire mfr and model. Plus, I could only really find 45 series tires in 225 width and I wanted the speedometer to be correct. A 245/40/17 keeps the speedometer accurate and is within 0.3” of the ideal tire width for an 8” wide wheel. Ideally I’d have gone 235/40 for proper width but that size is pretty rare.
