I went from a 911 Twin Turbo to an MX5. The Turbo, while a great GT car and total beast was only good for certain things. In order to enjoy the car triple digit speed was necessary and obviously that is a recipe for disaster so you end up driving it way below its intended use 90% of the time. While it was a wonderful car it just was too heavy to track and not that engaging.

Bought a Miata and had a blast however the fact that I'm just not a roadster guy and the terrible body roll and feeling like it was a chick car I just never got that feeling I was looking for. Always liked the FRS and drove one and withing 30 seconds I knew this was for me. The power is fine. It's a great track car and very engaging in the twisties. If I wanted a stoplight racer I would have gotten something else.
