One of the beautiful things about this car is its pretty easy to work on, and there is a DIY guide and or video specifically for this car for just about everything you could think of. Like others mentioned start off small and with things that won’t potentially leave you stranded like a catback and work your way up to the header and get a tune or at least OTS tune. Maybe do engine or tranny mounts next, slowly work your way up to doing bigger mods like brakes or suspension. Then maybe a Supercharger. It’s actually pretty easy to do all of those it’s just more “intimidating” and time consuming then anything. Just take your time be patient and don’t do something or move on to the next step until your 100% positive your doing it right and it should be fine.
The benefit of doing everything yourself besides saving tons of money is if something does happen or go wrong you’ll have a better idea and understanding of what happened or went wrong and a general idea of how to fix it. As apposed to always being at the mercy of a mechanic. It’ll probably add 30-50% more cost in install and maintenance to be dependent on someone else compared to doing it yourself.
