No worries. Even I ran stock springs for a while on my car....it's pretty good with a few bushings and bits + a good alignment. Adding coilovers on top of that just take things another (big) step forward.

Alignment
Good wheels/tires
Whiteline rear subframe inserts
Whiteline rear diff inserts
Perrin steering lock down
Mtec shift springs

For me, that's the BRZ/FRS/GT86 starter kit and it's something you can easily build on if you want to add more later.
