So finally finished my ls swap thanks to this site and all the awesome people that contribute. Special thanks to wutsaiu and spitsnauggle for all the great information.
So my fu in the a 20 engine spun a bearing with 72k on it. I owed money on the car and had to take out a loan to get another engine anyway so I decided I would go ls swap because I no longer trusted the boxer motor. Started with a 2013 Subaru BRZ, LS1 and t56 out of 2004 Pontiac GTO (approx 80k on both)for about 4k with all wiring gas pedal power steering ac etc. I was able to maintain all sway bars and strut tower bracing. Cable driven throttle body with some custom cut and weld on the gto pedal to fit and work off of stock location. Cx mounts and exhaust headers to stock exhaust with a variable exhaust cut so my neighbors wont hate me. Plasti dip paint job with a sprayer. Some custom el wire and James Bond buttons for lights and exhaust. Haven't tuned or dynoed yet so just stock 350ish hp.
