I have strayed very far from my 240Z roots. I got increased camber on that car by cutting the front control arms and having plates welded in to lengthen them, my mockup cost zero, welding shop $40, done. On the Cayman I had to buy GT3 control arms that you lengthen with shims. Same effect, $800!
I spent $150 for a rebuilt Nissan truck transmission (best 5-speed ratios!) for the Z once. Needless to say a Porsche factory rebuilt transmission is many many times more expensive... Though it was actually LESS expensive than what some people are asking for used ones on ebay!
