what the old farts are trying to say is that this car is super fun to drive in corners and if you are to get 300-400 whp, then you are throwing all that out of the window. take it to a windy track to see how much you are enjoying it in in its NA form. you might settle on "smaller" updates, such as a tune, headers, different final drive (will make it feel much snappier and fun to drive w.o the MAH BOOST!1!).

with all of that said, its still super fun to drive. 10/10, would do again
It doesn't "need" more power and is just fine for street driving when people actually know how to drive it.
If you want more power another 50 or so at the wheels (around 220 or so) is plenty to kick the ass of most cars in your little street race fantasies. To go 300+ at the wheels is just moronic for a street driven DD in most areas.
