This is why cars are great! Everyone can do their own thing and share their experiences. I wouldn't add oil to my gas, but other people also wouldn't be caught dead eating pizza 2-3 times a week. I'm still here! Doesn't mean it's healthy, but I feel great. Isn't that what's important?

Yes, the whole pizza. Science says that only bad can come of this, and yet I'm still whopping ass, have perfect blood pressure and continue on. Let people do what makes them feel better, and it may have a benefit, even if it's placebo. It may not be, @EngineeringExplained should do an article on this.

I fall into the camp of "I don't want oil going through my sensitive injectors". Oil residue coats everything and cakes on eventually, the same will be true for the fuel system. I imagine it also ( in large enough volume) will lower knock resistance. It may help one thing, only to cause issues elsewhere. Only time will tell as this becomes adopted maybe and practiced. Mazda folks add it to their fuel and don't seem to have injector or pump issues..
