they should be an led signal. the oem turn signal flasher is designed to be used with incandescent bulbs.
many retailers include a replacement led-compatible flasher, otherwise, they're not too hard to order.
i suggest you change your flasher relay with an led compatible model before going through any more troubleshooting.
