Someone's already tried 500:1 and it worked then another tried 1000:1 and that worked too.
I mentioned the smoother, quieter and better mpg because that is the general opinion when added at 200:1, it's certainly been my experience.
The gain in economy will certainly pay for the 2T used + a bit more for the slight inconvenience.
They used to have a dispenser at the pumps with Redex upper cylinder lubricant. I can remember my dad always put a couple of shots in the tank of his motorcycle/side car combo when he filled up. It's time they brought that back with ethanol, as an option or better still, add it to the fuel.
Not Redex, i'm sure there's much better these days, especially the high tech 2T stuff.
