If the OP is in a position to do their own maintenance, try that first. I personally find it more satisfying to do my own work with both maintenance and modifications. Doing the maintenance gets you comfortable working on items of consequence on the car.

If you got that itch to make it your own, some easy and relatively cheap mods include fumoto oil drain valve, jdm style undertrays (ok, not so cheap, but easy), interior bits such as shift knobs or phone mounts, an OFT (also some $$$), brake master cylinder brace, reusable air filter, shifter bushing (this ones a bit of a PITA), transmission and differential oils, brake pads/fluid, convex side mirrors, antenna (shark fin or shorty), uhhhhh... I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing.
