My buddy (and previous owner) did 4 years ago, was doing 194 wheel HP, that was before the intake and exhaust combo, which I'm guessing didn't hurt the output, and maybe helped it slightly.

I also put it on a slight diet, no cruise control module, no A/C components, lighter front seats, lighter battery, and a few other things I've forgotten about.

Anyway, I've driven the Genesis, and while it feels good to drive, I think it's ugly. I have a personal problem with the Zs, mainly that they weigh too much, it doesn't really feel right when driving it around, and it looks a little porky to me. The S2000 has been the car I have been aiming for this past 6 months. I was ready to pull the trigger on one, but it wasn't the right combination for me, I have very specific requirements for what I want in the S2000. On top of that, I decided to hold off until I can drive the toyobaru when it comes out, then I'll make my decision.

I'm hoping I'll like this new car, because I would like to buy my first new car, instead of having to buy used. all the time. This is why I'm hoping it's close to 2700 pounds and 200 HP. I could also be happy with 2800 pounds and 200 HP. I would prefer lower weight and less power, don't get me wrong, weight kills the fun on any car, but 0-60 in the 5s or low 6 is a must. Top speed between 130 and 140 would be nice (not that it matters in real life). If it's any slower than that, it would be slower than the Prelude, and then I wouldn't consider it much of an upgrade, making it not worth the price of admission, but that sounds like a personal problem.

My personal problem.

here's to hoping :happy0180:
I don't know about 220HP. While you may have the mods and they advertise gains it doesnt mean that a +5hp exhaust matched with a +5hp intake will give you +10hp. Either way no offense but I think if the FT86 matches up to its handling benchmark it will be a big improvment over a Lude. I always thought the lude was Hondas "muscle" car with big HP, weight and okay handling. Actually the way I see it just the weight loss and RWD makes it a massive upgrade over a fwd honda especially since the lude really only makes power in vtec.

just a personal opinion about that.

0-60 within 5 secs is doubtful. I would say 6 would be a resonable estimate but then again with a starting platform that has low weight and a good engine you can easily make it much more fun than your lude.
