How about the fact that you can get a porsche 911 for about $100K US brand new yet in Australia the equivalent car would cost $230K US.

You guys get such good prices on some amazing cars compared to us Aussies, not to mention the mustangs, corvettes, camaros etc

The same goes for the Subaru BRZ here in the USA. A BRZ Limited goes for $29k US. A real bargain considering a similarly equiped BRZ in the UK goes for 27,995 British Pounds which at the current exchange rate = $43,830 USA!!! The only difference being the stitched leather knee pads on the console, and the stitched leather speaker covers on the door panels. O, and the UK gets all the plastic panels on the bottom side of the car where the USA only gets the driver's side panels....

Instead of a TRD model how about Toyota USA just bring over the 86 as a more upscale alternative to the FR-S. HID, leather, Navi, dual zone climate control... Clearly there is enough demand to justify this alongside the FR-S and BRZ. This way Toyota won't lose out adult buyers to Subaru looking for a more grown up version of the FR-S.

The FR-S is an absolute WIN for an enthusiast on a budget but for an everyday car I would choose the BRZ just based on the fact that for a little over $1k more I can get HID, dual zone climate control, leather interior surfaces AND Navi... oh and Satin White Pearl at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE....

I love my Subarus but would much rather be sitting behind that "86" logoed steering wheel with a Toyota badge on the nose. So please Toyota give the USA a Toyota 86 Limited...please.
