- That dead spot in the first ~5% of the gas pedal. I've gotten used to it, but it's weird at first switching to other manual cars.
- Low seating position. It's second nature to me and I love it personally, but it's the first thing passengers comment (complain?) about getting in.
- Squealing brakes. This isn't the car's fault (more mine for keeping BBK/track pads in the car year-round), but passengers have an embarrassed look when my brakes squeal up to lights/stop signs. I've mostly tuned it out.
- Rattles and road noise. Whenever I drive a normal modern car (Accord, Camry, etc.) it's amazing how quiet and smooth they are. (This one is also probably my fault for using 200TW track tires for daily driving and coilovers with 400 lbs/in springs, but I don't remember the stock FR-S being especially refined either.)
- 90's era radio and HVAC. The simplicity doesn't bother me (in fact I kind of appreciate it), but honestly it's pretty dated-looking.
- Engine braking. There's a ton of it in our cars with the relatively high CR. Driving slushbox automatics, they don't slow down at all off-throttle.
Despite all its quirks, still loving this car. Not perfect, but perfect for me if that makes sense.
