I have similar problems
As I read through this discussion I was sure he was having the same problem as me. However, I am sure my problem is not my header rattling.
I have noticed on my car (2016 BRZ Hyperblue, 30k miles, stock other than exhaust)
During a long but sharp left hand turn at any speed or rpm I get this clunking, and it repeats over and over. between clunks is around a half second gap.
This only happens when not accelerating, only on decel or maintaining speed.
This same noise also happens after a hard accel like 0-100mph redlining each gear then coasting in gear back down it will do this clunking all the way down to a stop if it is in gear and my foot is not on the clutch.
Pressing the clutch or taking it out of gear both stop the sound.
I inspected my suspension and I really can't spot anything wrong. Any help here is greatly appreciated.
