Rented a borescope today just to take a quick glance inside before it goes to Toyota to make sure there aren't any surprises.
First pic is cylinder 3, problem one, the other one is cylinder 1. I would say there was definitely contact to the valves...
Now it will be interesting to see what happens with the recall.. I hope they dont try to pull the "well it should have been fixed when the recall came out " card.
