I'm running 18X8.5+35 square for two weeks now and the fitment is perfect. No clearance issues inside and out. The car is dropped on TRD spings (Eibach pro kit) on stock struts. I just got camber bolts in front for better cornering (1.2) and I'll have plenty of space for a big brake kit down the road.

I'm using 235/40 all around and even if it's a little bit bigger than stock diameter, it helps closing the fender gap just a little (about 4mm) and the car doesn't fell sluggish (not more than stock).

To my knowledge, 245/40 is to big, you should go with 245/35 if you want to stay closer to the stock diameter.

The offset is what matters most and the "wheel it fit" thing was a bless for me when I was shopping for mine, you should try it...
