So the offset matters a lot for if the tire is going to touch the stock strut, but if you're only running 18x8.5s you should be fine either way. Personally, I would probably run a 235/40 and I doubt you'd have any issues. Even a 225 would be fine honestly.

On my car as of right now I have 18x9.5 +38 Rays (wide AF) with 245/35s and there is zero rubbing and it clears the stock strut. Tires are not stretched either. I'm going to get coilovers anyways to drop it an inch and a half because I like almost zero wheel gap, but it works on the stock setup for no with no issues. I also have the performance pack Brembos (good choice lol)
