If Nissan actually lighten it (say 3100lb range) for the next generation and bump output to 350hp then it would be a car I'd consider to buy for 38-40k range. For 35k range I'd buy a 250+hp STI BRZ if that was made and kept the weight down at around 2700lbs. It would be nice if both choices were available in the future.

Even with 250-hp of brz sti, you're still looking at worst power-to-weight ratio than 370z. Not to mention the 250-hp brz sti will no longer be only 2700 lb. The problem with a lot of people keeping bashing Z for its weight, but nobody ever realize it's the power-to-weight ratio that matters
