The 2014 model year and newer are not affected by the present valve spring recall.

My 2013 FR-S has 25,000 miles on it and is under the valve spring recall, however, I'm not going to have it done. Why not? If it ain't broke by now, I ain't gonna let them break it.

I suggest you just pick one that hasn't been molested, leave it that way and just enjoy driving it.
