Just for shits and giggles let's make some numbers up.
There are 2,5000 affected FA20s (there are no reports of failures in the other engines involved)
Take a worst case scenario that only 10% of them have been fixed. The number is probably far higher but lets keep it simple.
The google list published on here is a compilation of forum, Facebook and other media sites. It has about 50 reported failures.
So now we will say that this is only 10% of the failures (keeping it simple)
So now we are at 500 failures out of 2,500 cars repaired.
Now I know everybody is going to cry "bullshit there are more than that" but the "so many failures number is not as bad as it appears. Still more than should have happened but they have dealt with the sealant issue and we are simply not seeing the rash of them we did at the start. It is a sort of a glitch in the system whee the Google list does not included date of repair so we don't even know if most of the failures were before the updated instructions went out.
Personally, if I had to have it done, I would do it now while it is high enough profile that the dealers are going to ensure the work is done right. The early guys suffered through the lack of instruction and those that wait too long may get stung by the techs getting complacent again so this may be the sweet spot for getting it done right.
And what % are of those without the recall performed and still driving it without issues?
