I know your trying to stay NA but 8k on a turbo setup and rims/tires you’d be just as fast straight line, add suspension and some aero for another 2k and it would be no comparison all around.

Bah. Get a 2017 if you *like* the new styling or want updated electronics etc. Reliability/engine upgrades are minimal, especially if you're going to spend $$ in mods. Get a cheap, low mile, well cared for 2014 with great service records and use the extra dough for mods. 22k plus 10k in mods can get you into a Cayman S, F-Type Jag, E92 M3 etc. Just my humble opinion
