The biggest thing I noticed when I first started tracking was how HARD it is on a car. I thought I'd driven pretty hard on some back roads but it wasn't until I ran a 20 minute session on track that I realized that street driving is nothing compared to track duty.
With a set of performance tires and some track pads these cars are phenomenal. The guys in the HPDE download sessions with BMWs and Porsches, (or any car out there because let's face it, basically everything in the field makes more power than the twins) they're are always pretty surprised when they find out they couldn't keep up with a mostly stock Subaru.
