SO long story short I am stuck with a car I can't drive. If they will not fix it I am going to tear the engine down and document everything I find. Dealer pulled the oil pan and the oil screen was gone when I viewed it. I am going to see if I can get by with a new crank. pistons and bearings. Any recommendations on these parts? I am not seeing a lot of options.

Find out where the Fk is the oil screen. If dealer doesn't want to fix it, make a complaint to Toyota and the general manager of your dealer should give you a call. Then try to work things out with the GM. And i wouldn't go cursing and yelling at him. Try to find out where they made mistake(like applying sealant to wrong place) etc...
Try this before tearing apart the engine.
If all fails, then i would get a used long block for 2,3k.
