I'm leaning towards chancing it since the absolute worst case is it spins a bearing after they "fix" it and I have to pay another shop to swap the engine anyway.
That is a tough spot to be in. At least mine works perfectly at the moment. I’m definitely chancing it for now. Just feels too risky at this point. Might have to call around and see if any of the dealerships around here have done any yet. Just for curiosity.
