I am aware of that. The current Z is 3232 lbs or so at the same size as the BRZ. I am sure the engine is not 400lbs heavier, there are other factors.
If Nissan actually lighten it (say 3100lb range) for the next generation and bump output to 350hp then it would be a car I'd consider to buy for 38-40k range. For 35k range I'd buy a 250+hp STI BRZ if that was made and kept the weight down at around 2700lbs. It would be nice if both choices were available in the future.
