It's changing. People who used to live there are being priced out.
Homeland Security facility is right next door now.

People used to say the same about the central district.
Most of the dissing of various places is outright racism.
There was a lot of bank imposed redlining. Only allow loans for "those people" in certain areas.

A lot like Hilltop in Tacoma used to be. Not anymore.
The artisinal soapmaking snowflakes have arrived.
