I would not recommend using stock pads on the track at all. It's potentially life-threateningly dangerous, depending on the particular track configuration. The stock brake pads are not intended for the high levels of heat that can be incurred and can literally separate/melt the compound off the backing plate (I've done this accidentally).
If you're going on the race track, get appropriate fluid and pads. You can start on the cheaper side, but stock pads are not sufficient or appropriate for track usage. They are perfectly fine for a daily driver.
