I'm not overly concerned about compatibility, mostly wondering if my "old shock" might die sooner than expected so I'd had to get new shocks after getting new springs.
I am at 120,000 miles on RSR Superdowns which give a 1.7 inch drop on stock dampers and have no issues. An inch is no big deal to shocks.
