I personally am not a fan of wide body look as it always appears to ME that people are trying to make the car look like something it isn't. It makes sense if you have modified the power to a point where you need those big tires but I am afraid that the majority of wide body cars I have seen are pretty much stock. Makes no sense to ME at all when people go wide body and then throw so much camber on their massive wheels that only 2" of tire is actually touching the ground.
That said I will pay grudging respect to those that do the task well. It is not something that you can cheap out on or take shortcuts since it will look exactly like you cheaped out and took short cuts. I physically laugh when I see a wide body car with spacers trying to make small wheels look big. If this is something you really want to do then research the quality kits and the other required mods to go with them, save up the money to buy that quality, find somebody that know how to do it properly and THEN go for it. Do it right. Do it once. There are a pile of horrendous looking body kits on all makes and models of cars out there where people just did not want to wait and do a proper job.
