If the car runs fine, I imagine it will keep running fine, just don't participate in the recall. here's really no reason to, unless you're in California. If the valve springs fail, then you're bringing it in and it's covered anyway. If I could go back, I'd avoid it like the plague, my car was completely fine and would've been.
