Granted, it's my opinion on the matter, but when you go out with friends for a few drinks and the girls at the table across the bar are dancing to some asshat rapping about shooting a guy who stole his drugs... Somethings got to give.

It disappoints me how Mike Shinoda got such little recognition for his rap album back 5-6 years ago. Everybody knows him only for his "Remember The Name," which isn't even close to the best song on "The Rising Tied."
I cannot stand hip-hop when all the artist talk about are girls, money, sex, and drugs. That basically is all that mainstream gives and that is why I cannot stand listening to the radio. But there are a handful of current rappers today who amazes me with their lyrics such as Eminem, B.o.B., and Lupe Fiasco.

You're not an Eminem fan if the only songs you know from Recovery are "Not Afraid" and "Love the way you lie".
