$25-26 per 5 quart jug at Walmart; very difficult to beat that value I think.
I paid less for the Toyota 0W20 not too long ago. Someone here had posted some test results a while back and that had the best shear characteristics and hit some other key numbers so I tried it. My car has been running very well and I hit 3 of my best gas mileage tanks in this period. Unfortunately I didn't get to do much very cold weather monitoring because the car sat for the bulk of the winter due to some health issues I had so I can't speak to it's near zero feel and performance but in the low 20's it was very good. For under $5/qt I will probably stick with it or maybe give that Amazon basics a try if I don't hear anything negative about it in summer temps as I'm less than 1k miles from the next change.
