Yep. Almost 44 years ago, at age 16 I was able to rebuild a Corvair engine with zero issues and all I had was a library book repair manual so I have zero doubt that a trained and experienced tech can figure it out. I didn't stand there scratching my head in total bafflement because it wasn't laid out in a V and only had six cylinders.
I haven't tore down an engine in almost 20 years but would be very comfortable with following the recall instructions. The updated instructions that show where to avoid the sealant should help if the techs actually pay attention.
