Gluing this engine together might be special for Toyota, but everyone else has been doing it for 30 years. There is nothing high tech about the fa20, variable cams, direct injection, liquid sealant... old news.

Throw a 48v supercharger to spool the turbo, ditch the belt and everything attached to it, toss the starter in the trash and we'll talk about the new age of engines.

I can't believe how many times I've said this. Slow down. Follow the kindergarten level instructions. Don't blow up engines. And test drive the damn car when you're "done".
