Since you all have me extremely paranoid, I decided to check my oil level when I got home from work to eat lunch. I tried 5 times, and the attached image is the most oil I could get to register on the dipstick.
I called the dealer, and they confirmed the kit included a full oil change. I explained the dipstick either wasn't reading, or I'm an absolute idiot and am missing something. They told me to bring it in immediately so they could check it out, and since they're only 5 minutes me from, I dropped it off and left.
First question - Am I looking at the dipstick correctly and the car isn't registering oil other than that small spot?
Second question - If I am looking it correctly, should I assume they didn't add enough oil with the kit, or would you be planning for the worst?
