I have changed the delta to 2000 so my FFS should be at 5600 rpms. I tried the technique of flat foot shifting but noticed the FFS only activated if I shifted up roughly around 5600 rpms.
If I was to shift before 5600/ after 6000, the FFS doesn't hang around 5600 rpms when up-shifting.

Am I missing something here?

OFT flat foot shift is very simple implemtation.

Basicly its jist a second rev limiter thats activated by clutch switch.

It doesnt detect current rpm or accelerator position

The valuse in the ffs table is a delta from the bormal rev limit usually 7600 in oft tunes
So if you stick 2000 in your ffs limiter whwn clutch pressed is 5600.

If you shift below the ffs limiter engine rpm will increase if you shift above it will decrease.

Personally ive found it doesnt work very well and also too much delay before power returned.
